It’s Not So Bad

Today’s student is my mom. She’s wintered in Florida for 15 years (with my dad) and recently they moved there full-time. Today was her FIRST time in the backyard pool. It’s not heated so it probably wasn’t so warm all those winters. She hesitated, a bit fearful of the entry, needing my arm to steady herself. Once in, floating from a noodle, she kept moving her legs and was responsive to my water aerobic instructions. We spend AN HOUR floating about and exercising!
