Fun first

Yesterday, the last day of the toddler series, the class started with me mermaiding in the pool with my dolphin Buddy.  It was funny that the kids were a bit afraid to come close to me (though they’d known me well by then).  The moms did bring them all close, one-by-one to pose with the mermaid.   However, once the instruction began, the kids were not will to participate until I removed the tail to be my regular swim instructor self.
